  • Impersonation of banks, government agencies, companies, or family members

How quickly does VocaGuard detect a scam?

The exact detection timing depends on when warning signs appear during the conversation, as well as the call quality, device, language, and nature of the call.

Does VocaGuard record or store calls?

VocaGuard is not designed as a traditional call-recording application.

Some protection features may require real-time audio processing to identify suspicious patterns. The exact processing and storage method may depend on the device, operating system, permissions, and product version.

Which languages does VocaGuard support?

VocaGuard currently supports:

Detection accuracy may vary depending on accents, dialects, audio quality, and the type of scam. Support for additional languages may be introduced in future versions.

Is VocaGuard available on Android and iPhone?

The current VocaGuard beta is focused primarily on supported Android devices.

iPhone availability and functionality may differ because of iOS platform restrictions. Support for additional devices and platforms is being evaluated as VocaGuard continues to develop.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can cancel your VocaGuard subscription at any time through the platform or app store where the subscription was purchased.

After cancellation, paid features will normally remain available until the end of the current billing period. The subscription will not automatically renew after that date.

Cancellation and refund eligibility are subject to the applicable subscription terms and the policies of the relevant payment provider or app store.

Can I try VocaGuard for free before paying?

Yes. Eligible users can apply to join the VocaGuard closed beta and try VocaGuard for free before purchasing a subscription.

Approved beta testers receive six months of VocaGuard Premium at no cost while helping us improve detection accuracy, alerts, usability, and overall protection.

Built with purpose

VocaGuard started after seeing how many people – especially older adults – were being scammed through phone calls, WhatsApp, and Telegram.

Existing solutions focus mainly on blocking numbers, but scammers constantly change them. VocaGuard takes a different approach: analyzing behavior, language, and emotional pressure to detect fraud in real time.

About the founder

VocaGuard is led by Amir Tuchner, a senior software engineer with over 13 years of experience building secure and scalable systems in banking, telecom, and cybersecurity-related environments.

VocaGuard wasn't born from a business idea—it was born from Amir's personal experience: "A few years ago, I became the victim of a sophisticated phone scam. Like many victims, I realized that the warning signs only became obvious after it was too late. Existing solutions could block known spam numbers, but they couldn't recognize a convincing scammer using a new phone number or manipulating the conversation in real time".

Amir’s mission is simple: use technology and AI to protect real people from losing their savings, confidence, and peace of mind to phone scams.
